photographic Direction

Tasked with developing a photographic style that reflected the bold personality of Mumu - a vibrant late-night eatery inspired by Southeast Asian street food culture. The images were styled to match the venue’s playful, neon-lit interiors and fast-paced energy, aligning closely with the textures, palette, and attitude of the space.

Visual Strategy

Photography focused on rich colour, movement, and intimacy - conveying a sense of celebration, spice, and late-night indulgence. Each image captured the textural complexity of the venue’s food and design, contributing to Mumu’s distinct visual presence across Merivale’s marketing channels.
