NIVEA x Lyn-Al – Limited Edition Collaboration & Editorial Campaign
Role: [art Direction · Campaign Concept · Content & Asset Development]
Campaign concept
Developed and led the Vogue creative execution for the NIVEA x Lyn-Al partnership, one of three exclusive fashion collaborations launched for the Black & White deodorant range. The limited-edition can design was inspired by Lyn-Al’s signature silk artworks - each hand-painted and deeply connected to her identity as an Indigenous Australian designer. Assets were produced across video, print, and social channels, with Vogue documenting her story and creative process.
Designer & Inspiration
Lyn-Al Young is known for transforming soft, flowing silks into one-off pieces of wearable art. Each garment tells a personal story tied to her family, culture, and connection to Country. This collaboration saw her translate that vision into a limited-edition NIVEA can, reimagining everyday care through the lens of Indigenous artistry and storytelling.
Visual Direction & Editorial Execution
The campaign aesthetic reflected the delicacy and movement of Lyn-Al’s work - airy, natural textures and slow-motion fabrics floating across serene backdrops. Imagery was crafted to feel intimate and expressive, aligning the deodorant’s protective promise with the gentle strength of silk. Vogue’s editorial content expanded on the designer’s journey, creativity, and the meaning behind her work.
Multi-Platform Rollout
Editorial stills, fashion film, and digital-first assets were deployed across Vogue’s print, online, and social media. The campaign positioned NIVEA as a brand that supports diverse voices in fashion while elevating product relevance through artistic collaboration.
